Why we started
Our pets are family. They get a stocking at Christmas, a cake on their birthday and the best spot on the sofa. Shopping for them should be just as much fun: everything they need and everything that makes them (and you) smile, in one place, at a fair price, with a clear date for when it arrives.
Buy Pet Supplies is the UK pet shop built for that. Everyday supplies for dogs and cats sit next to gifts made with your pet's name or photo, and presents for every dog mum, cat dad and animal lover you know.
Who runs the shop
Buy Pet Supplies was founded and is run by Bez. He picks every item in our range and writes our guides.
We're based in London.
How we pick what we sell
Every item is chosen with a real pet and a real owner in mind: does it get used every day, does it last, would you be proud to give it? We write each product page ourselves, so you can see the size, what it's made of and what's in the box. You see the price and the expected delivery dates before you buy.
Shop for the pet, with gifts for dogs, gifts for cats and personalised pet gifts, or for the people who love them, with gifts for dog lovers and gifts for cat lovers.
Our UK suppliers
We work with established UK suppliers who send from their own warehouses in the UK, with UK makers who personalise gifts to order, and with UK print labs for photo gifts. Every order is sent from the UK by tracked post.
Stock levels update every hour from our suppliers, so the shop stays up to date.
How delivery works
Every product page shows when to expect your order. We work it out from that supplier's real dispatch times and the carrier's delivery times.
- Delivery from £3.19 per parcel, and free standard delivery on most items once a parcel reaches £40 (every delivery price).
- Items marked "Same-day dispatch" leave the warehouse the same day when you order by noon, Monday to Friday.
- We email you the tracking link when your order is on its way.
Sending a gift to someone else? Add their name and address at checkout, and add a free e-card. We email your message to them at 8am on the first day the gift could arrive.
How personalised pet gifts work
Type your pet's name or message on the product page. A UK maker makes your gift to order and posts it by Royal Mail Tracked 24, usually within 1 to 5 working days. A few take a little longer, and their page tells you so. They travel as their own parcel, from £3.19.
If a personalised gift arrives damaged, faulty or not as you typed it, we remake it or refund it in full.
Our promise
- Fair prices and real offers. A 10% welcome code when you sign up for pet birthday reminders, and free standard delivery on most items of £40 or more.
- Clear delivery dates. Every item shows when to expect it.
- Easy returns. Send most unused items back within 14 days of delivery for a refund (how returns work). Damaged or faulty items are replaced or refunded at no cost to you.
- A real person answers. We reply within one working day.
- Safe payment. Pay by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay, or pay in 3 with Klarna, through Stripe. We never see your card number.
